Application
The instructions for use recommend using the drug "Kinmiks" for spraying garden and vegetable crops during the period of active growth when the above pests appear. To make the result more stable and long-lasting, you need to carry out several treatments of the damaged areas during the season.
In order to rid potato seedlings of Colorado beetles, you need to use two and a half milliliters of the active mixture per ten liters of water. This amount of solution is enough for one hundred square meters. To treat cabbage against moths, moths and cutworms, use the same technology as in the previous case.
To rid grape bushes of leaf phylloxera and leaf rollers, apply two to three liters of a solution prepared in advance to the plant. For gooseberries and currants, use the same technology.
To rid fruit trees of pests, spray all apple trees, cherries and cherries, using two and a half liters of prepared liquid.
Fighting ants
Vegetable crops, fruit trees, and flowers can suffer from ant invasions. Products with low toxicity do not have the desired effect. And Kinmiks copes with them perfectly.
To eliminate uninvited guests, both the anthill itself and the area around it (at least 1 meter in diameter) are treated. Experienced gardeners recommend mulching with grass, straw soaked in a solution.

Benefits of insecticide
The drug Kinmiks has its own characteristics that distinguish it from similar products.
They can also be attributed to the advantages of the product:
- optimal price-quality ratio (when compared with analogues, it costs 3–5 times less, but remains no less effective);
- Kinmiks is not toxic to the environment, including humans and animals, and does not accumulate in the soil;
- there are limitations in the ability to penetrate plant tissue;
- if the specified dosages are observed, it does not affect the fruits;
- there are no toxic residues after using the drug (even if the dosage of the drug is increased, you just need to wait
- processed fruits within 30 days so that the harvest becomes completely environmentally friendly);
- ease of use, which makes Kinmiks accessible for use by beginning gardeners;
- Kinmiks is effective against pests that are not affected by products based on phosphorus and organic compounds, as well as carbamates;
- The shelf life ranges from 2 to 5 years.
Flaws:
- Kinmiks poses some danger to pollinators;
- for effective use, use no more than 2 times per season, since more frequent use causes addiction;
- one route of penetration is through the gastrointestinal tract, therefore it does not affect beetles with hard wings, weevils and those insects
- which are able to penetrate deeply into plant tissues;
- weak systemic effect, which determines its effectiveness mainly against gnawing pests;
- Kinmiks has no effect on eggs and those pests that do not feed;
- short-term protective effect: only from 7 to 12 days;
- if the specified dosage is exceeded by 1.5 times, it has a depressing effect.

Mechanism of action and purpose of the product
The active component of the product is the pyrethroid beta-cypermethrin. If the substance enters the body or digestive organs of parasites, it causes paralysis. As a result, the parasite loses the ability to move and feed, which quickly leads to death.

Treatment of fruit trees with kinmiks
The most dangerous pests of fruit crops are codling moths. They can completely ruin the harvest of not only an individual tree, but the entire garden. Moths begin their flight when the trees fade and end during the formation of the first ovaries. By this time, they manage to lay entire colonies of larvae. Two-centimeter caterpillars gnaw through the fruits, getting to the seeds. During its life, one such individual is capable of spoiling more than three fruits.
The codling moth is dangerous for:
- apple trees,
- pears,
- quinces,
- apricots and almost any fruit crops.
The fruits dry out quickly and fall off unripe.
Kinmiks: analogues of the product
To avoid plants becoming addicted to Kinmiks, it must be alternated with other drugs, including:
- Aktellik;
- Confidor;
- Calypso;
- Fitoverm;

- Karbofos;
- Commander;
- Bi-58.
You can safely choose one of the above medications. Each of them goes well with Kinmiks.
Safety precautions during processing
Kinmiks has a low degree of volatility and is insoluble in liquid. It has a hazard class 1 for bees and a hazard class 3 for humans.
When working with the product, you must observe the following precautions:
- Apply only in conditions where there is no wind.
- Wear protective equipment when working with the drug: respirator, safety glasses, gloves.
- Store containers in which the product is diluted separately from those used for cooking and household needs.
- Dispose of packaging after use.
- After working with the product, you should separately send the items in the wash in which the treatment was carried out.
Kinmiks can act as a poison only if the exact dosages are not observed.
Requires careful work to avoid contact with the skin or inside the body. If this happens, then in the first case, it is worth rinsing the skin thoroughly using a sufficient amount of water.
If ingested, you should immediately take the adsorbent and if there are first signs of poisoning, consult a doctor.
If the drug, diluted or whole, comes into contact with exposed skin surfaces, rinse with plenty of water.
Important!
It is not recommended to work with the drug for those people who are hypersensitive to its components.
Precautionary measures
Kinmiksa DV is insoluble in water and slightly volatile, which makes it possible to simplify PPE for working with the drug (see below). But class 1 danger for bees and aquatic organisms is a very serious matter: pestilence after pestilence of pollinating insects is now occurring all over the world, which threatens a global environmental catastrophe. At the same time, the hazard class of the Kinmiks insecticide for humans is 3rd (moderately hazardous substance). Therefore, the following security zones for working with this drug are established:
- Apiary – 5 km (limited flight of bees 96 hours).
- Reservoirs, open sources of water supply - according to their cadastral water protection zone, but not less than 1.5 km.
- Children's and medical institutions, captured (closed) water supply sources, recreation areas, recreational facilities, open storage of food and feed (potato piles, stacks and hay/straw stacks) - 150 m.
- People without PPE, open poultry houses and livestock yards – 50 m.
- Residential buildings, closed premises for keeping pets, closed food and feed storage facilities - 15 m.
- Other outbuildings – 5 m.
Personal protective equipment for working with the Kinmiks insecticide
PPE for working with Kinmiks for no more than 4 hours, it is possible to use simplified (lightweight, see the figure on the right): 3M type petal respirator, single-layer protective or household latex gloves, simple (splash-proof) safety glasses. In addition to these - waterproof shoes that cover your feet and ankles, work clothes and a hat (preferably with a waterproof cape over them). After work, you need to wash with soap in the shower, wipe PPE with a rag moistened with 2-3 tsp soda solution. per glass of water, and then rinse with water, and wash work clothes with laundry soap.
Note 2: 3M respirators are considered disposable - after use they are handed over for disposal. However, their resource is at least 24 hours. in order to save money, after working with Kinmiks, the 3M respirator can be hung in the breeze and sunshine so that it can be frayed and fried - cypermethrin is photolytic - and then reused, but no more than 8 hours in total!
Kinmiks is stored under conditions common to pesticides: in a separate non-residential area inaccessible to children and animals, not intended for storing food, medicines and household items. Neutralize spills with soda solution. If spilled on the floor, wash it with water after neutralization.
Self-help measures when working with Kinmiks are as follows:
- In case of contact with skin, remove without rubbing with a soft cloth moistened with soda solution. Very convenient and most effective - with a wad of toilet paper, it instantly absorbs the solution. After this, wash the affected area with soap.
- In case of contact with eyes, rinse them thoroughly with open eyes under running water.
- If you inhale vapors or get splashes into your respiratory tract, stop working, go out into fresh air and breathe deeply (to the point of slight dizziness). Then, immediately, regardless of the presence or absence of illness, consult a doctor.
- If ingested, prepare a suspension of 2-3 powders or crushed tablets of activated carbon in a glass of water, take it, then drink it with 2-4 glasses of water and induce vomiting, then also consult a doctor without delay.
Symptoms of acute poisoning with Kinmiks as it develops are trembling of the limbs (tremor), tics of the facial muscles, impaired coordination of movements, convulsions. If any of them appear, immediately contact a toxicologist or take the victim to him. Do not use home or self-medication! There are no specific antidotes for pyrethroids, treatment is symptomatic!
