The procedure is carried out before the potato tubers are stored. At this time, the solution is sprayed. It is prepared at the rate of 4 ml of substance per 100 ml of water. This small amount is enough to process 20 kg of potatoes. To treat rhizoctonia and fusarium, you can use a concentrated solution: 4 ml of product per 50 ml of water. The volume of solution is intended to process ten kilograms of potatoes.
For soil dressing
The drug "Maxim" for soil treatment is diluted at the rate of 40 ml per 20-liter container of clean water. To cultivate 10 square meters of land on a plot, this volume should be enough. The spill should be maximum. After the spill has been made, the area on top is covered with black plastic film. This allows you to increase the efficiency of fertilizer use. Pre-sowing treatment protects potatoes from rhizoctonia and fusarium. The solution is prepared according to the instructions for use of the Maxim fungicide: 80 ml is dissolved in 2 liters of water. The resulting solution is enough to treat 200 kg of tubers.
Flowers
The drug Maxim is used to treat bulbous and tuberous flowers: lilies, begonias, crocuses, tulips, daffodils, gladioli, hyacinths. The concentrate protects asters, irises, dahlias, and clematis from the spread of rot and wilting.
According to the instructions, the consumption of Maxim fungicide is 4 ml per 2 liters of water. The resulting solution is used to process 2 kg of planting material. Help with drug poisoning
If drug poisoning occurs accidentally, you must call an ambulance and provide first aid to the victim:
- Thoroughly rinse the area where the drug comes into contact with a sufficiently large volume of running water; it is better to use a soap solution.
- If the fertilizer solution gets into your eyes, they should be washed with running water for several minutes.
- When swallowing the solution, ensure a supply of fresh air. The victim should be given activated carbon at the rate of gram of medicine per kilogram of body weight. Charcoal is washed down with plenty of water. After which you drink a saline solution, it will provoke a gag reflex.
- You need to contact a toxicologist very quickly, since the drug does not have an antidote. The victim needs professional medical assistance.
