Phytohormones normalize the balance of hormones and help smooth out the symptoms of menopause in a woman’s body. Flavonoids suppress the harmful effects of free radicals.
Regular consumption of the product strengthens the immune system, improves appetite, activates metabolism and cellular respiration, increases hemoglobin, relieves inflammation, and removes toxins. Akkurai honey is good for quickly getting rid of cold symptoms and treating cough.

Akkurai plant - an unusual honey plant
In the vast meadows of southern Kazakhstan and Bashkiria, and the sunny foothills of Central Asia, you can find a tall (human-sized) plant with modest small purple flowers collected in racemes. This is akkurai or psoralea drupes. No one grows the plant on purpose - it is a weed.
Akkuray is a perennial from the legume family. It is interesting to watch the plant bloom. Late May, 6 a.m.: the bud of the lowest flower on the cluster opens. The rest “wake up” around lunchtime. After 15 o'clock all the flowers on the cluster are already closed. The flowering period is very short - after 4 days the flowers will wither.
The modesty of lilac flowers is compensated by their chic spicy aroma. It’s a paradox, but purified honey from Akkurai has virtually no odor. The thing is that aromatic substances are concentrated in pollen. And honey bees collect honey at a time when there is no pollen in the flowers.
In the very heart of the flower, between the fruit and the stamens, the nectaries are located. They secrete the sweet substrate that honey bees are so attracted to - nectar. In warm and humid weather, bees are especially active in landing on akkurai due to increased nectar production. Psoralea drupeta is a powerful honey plant, its honey productivity reaches 400 kg/ha.
Kinds
In spring and summer, over 3 hundred Bashkir honey plants bloom. Therefore, the products of local apiaries differ from other regions in their great diversity.
For connoisseurs, in Bashkiria they collect natural beet honey with a richer taste. It is obtained from bee dwellings built in hollow logs or tree hollows.
Among the monofloral types of Bashkir honey, linden honey stands out. It is light yellow, transparent, fragrant. It has a sweet taste, diluted with a slight bitterness.
This is the most healing and popular product. Linden grows in many regions of Bashkiria, forming vast forests.
Bees collect large amounts of nectar from cultivated and wild herbaceous plants. It produces well-known varieties of Bashkir honey, which are easily distinguished by color:
- buckwheat – brown, very dark;
- acacia – yellowish-white, transparent, delicate in taste;
- sweet clover – cream or light brown, reeks of vanilla;
- sunflower – bright golden, tart, aromatic.
A rare and valuable type of Bashkir honey is Akkura honey. It is colored white and has the consistency of a soft cream. Only a part of apiaries are engaged in its production.
Polyfloral varieties are called floral or forb. This is processed nectar that was collected from several plants (thyme, fireweed, angelica).

What diseases does it help with?

All components are mixed well, and the resulting mixture is applied twice a day to the affected areas of the skin.
A widespread fungal disease, known as thrush, responds well to treatment in the form of baths and douches prepared with honey.
